I have a USP 45.
Absolutely love it.

I used to have the previous USP edition. I had to send mine back to HK 3 times for the same thing: the safety broke rendering the firearm locked in the safe setting where the lever spun freely 360 degrees. After the 3rd "fix" I sold it because I no longer trusted it and a gun I can't trust is worse than useless, it's dangerous.
Now having said that, I still say HK makes excellent firearms, I just got a lemon but they were unable to fix it after multiple tries.
When it was working, it was a sweet shooter and very accurate though.

I loved mine before the boating accident. Very accurate and enjoyable to shoot at the range.

90's usp 45, lots of trigger travel but it's accurate as can be so I haven't messed with it.

I like mine a lot. Double action could be better, but single action is pretty good. I can pick up spent brass within a 15” circle behind my right heel. Very smooth, low recoil shooter. I like way more than my XDMod 2 45 & SW1911-. No mods on any of these guns.

I have a HK45 tactical. It's a dream to shoot.

I have one as well. My favorite pistol and is accurate and reliable. I would be hard pressed to buy another maker.

HK45 CT. Probably my favorite pistol to shoot!

Mk23... most will tell you not a modern gun, but it's the shite to shoot. I carry a g21, so the bulk of it doesn't bother me one bit. It's a half step below being a safe queen in my shooting rotation. Really a testament to the kind of quality hk puts out.

I recently got to shoot my friend's Mk23 at his house a couple weeks back. You are correct, that thing is an awesome shooter. Its bulky size and heavy weight make it incredibly easy to stay on target for follow up shots.
Getting to shoot it definitely has put it on my mind to make it one of my next pistol purchases.

I have a Socom. It’s an awesome pistol but almost totally useless as a practical weapon. I think that’s why Delta and the Seals dumped it.

I have the USP 45 compact with stainless slide, shoots well. It’s just heavy

Partially. It was meant as an individual offensive combat weapon system (OICW was the original moniker), a great pistol in and of itself but didn't do anything that couldn't be done better or more practically by existing weapon systems. Too big as a backup to a rifle, SBR or SMG, too small to replace either. I almost picked on up myself some years ago, but I already had a USP so I went with a Desert Eagle as a large and impractical handgun in my collection.
