Two bucket trucks were not tall enough to reach the top, so instead of renting a lift, they went the cheap route and staked their financial liability on a $30 rope.

That huge limb put all of the weight on one side. Any idiot could have seen what was going to happen without removing that weight.

It's the rope's fault.

Did it actually hit anything? Looks like the house dodged it. But yea, dumb asses.

Watch it again. The large top limbs hit the back of the neighbor's house

It’s a hell of a lot easier to take a tree by cutting from the top down. Even if you could control the fall of a big tree like that, it’s a hell of a lot harder to cut it up when it’s laying on the ground.

Idiots.

That’s what I was thinking. Mexicans ain’t got time for that shite. I saw a crew of 5 put together a prefab barn years ago and I think it took them all of 30 minutes from start to finish.

I can’t help laughing at the guy speaking Spanish in the background.. you know he just slowly took iff his hard hat and his vest and walked away.

And I’ll bet they were charging 15-20k for that tree because “we’re experts”.

Nothing like having your name on the dump trailer to go viral.

Something tells me that wasn't the first time that guy used the words: "aawww frick! so stupid!!"

And something tells me that every time he used it, he was always talking about himself.

ETA: just noticed the person in the plastic chair pulled up in the front lawn getting the free theater.

There is a guy in the machine right behind the tree. He barely survived that one. The tree to the top off that machine

Tree companies pull trees over like this all the time, the problem is that rope wasn't rated for that kind of load or maybe was wore out. The right size rope would not pulled that tree over no problem

My tree guy is or at least was pre Trump cheap as hell and would have 4 dudes climbing like monkeys up the tree

It was honestly impressive how fast they got rid of my dead water oak

Even if the rope was strong enough, it would likely have pulled that truck with it.
