It is fricking amazing to me how many friends/acquaintances of mine...some of whom are highly intelligent, have bought into the dem bullshite hook, line and sinker. Completely irrational.....repeating the ridiculous talking points...and refusing any attempt to have them go objectively look for the truth. I don't know what you do. Never thought this could/would happen in a million years.....but they continue. On facebook, it's like a cult of 20 people or so...all they talk about all day/all night is Trump and how stupid he is...or how he constantly lies. And are then supported by the same 20 or so people with responses. It is friggin bizarre....and I don't know what happened to make them this way. (Arguing in the face of factually obvious.) The world has gone completely nuts....

And you’ll note that they actually know who they are oftentimes, i.e. the immediate downvote you got, which I’m sure will be followed up with more. They be like “Gullible fools, you say? You must be talking about me.”

No, but it is very difficult. There’s a poster here, Foomanchoo, who thinks “take nothing except a staff” and “don’t take a staff” mean the exact same thing because he has been brainwashed by religious nuts.

In my experience, it is not. We are far more likely to reevaluate and change our positions than the left is.

It’s not and we may be passed the point of no return.

Poo yie, my brother are you in the right place. Rest assured, your worldview will not be challenged here.

So you don’t challenge any worldviews here? And you don’t notice any other worldview challenges here either? Then what have you been doing here all this time?? You’re insinuating the entire thing is an echo chamber with zero challenges, yet you’ve been around for some time yourself. You just been echoing in the chamber??

Brainwashing is strong.

I think there is a tipping point when there is enough affirmation everywhere you look to never disbelieve anything you want to believe. I believe we are very much there if not well beyond it.

It can happen, but it has to come from within.

The dumbest people I’ve ever met were the people who thought they were were the smartest people in the room.

At this point way too many people live in a world where they are not tethered by reality and truth is completely subjective. This is the postmodern world that Walt Truet Anderson and Michael Parenti warned us about.
It’s somewhat entertaining.

Ironically, they learned very well from the Nazis. One of the first things the Nazia did was take over all sources of news. That way, the population would only hear their demented and deranged propaganda. Same with the schools.

Starting in the late 60s and early 70s, notice the two institutions that the Democrats took over – the mainstream media and the educational system.

Now, they’re not exposed to anything else. They’re told how evil Fox and the other new sources are so they’ll stick with the Rachel Maddow’s of the world no matter how many fricking times she gets caught lying and making shite up.

And notice, instead of trying to debate and intellectually challenge the very few new sources that lean right, they instead want to completely eliminate them, take them off the air, take them off the Internet, and jail those who don’t march in goosestep to the Democrat party line.

Joseph Goebbels could only aspire to be what the Democrats have become in our society. It truly is fricking amazing.

And if you even begin to doubt that the Democrats do not intend to cancel anyone who questions they’re insane propaganda, just remember this ignorant fricking c*nt and Joseph Goebbels wannabe…..

This may come as a tremendous shock but people have different opinions. It’s the way it’s always been and always will be.

You do realize these ‘brainwashed’ people are saying the same thing about MAGA family and friends, a political movement we’ve never seen in the history of the country. Some even call it a ‘cult’ which I don’t agree with.

One thing I recommend is staying off of social media. Americans over 45 are absolutely the worst on facebook.

Ahhhh, yet another source of information that the Democrats attempted to completely control and manipulate for their own fascist purposes.

Of course, now that all of that’s been exposed and Elon Musk bought Twitter/X so that they no longer completely control it, they now want to cancel and eliminate Twitter/X.

Probably not. The people still bashing Trump when Kamala was the option is a case in point

A common response to posting facts here is a steady stream of insults. Such nonsensical vitriol is a sign of internal conflict. Some folks cannot live with the fact that they have been duped so, instead of changing their minds, they attack the messenger.

Reasonable people learn and evolve......the rest throw rocks.
