If tweet fails to load, click here. Interesting that Thune wouldn’t do as Johnson wanted

A veto to spite Masshole would cause a melt like no other on here

This makes no sense.... the bill was crafted and approved by the House. Why wouldn't whatever modifications Johnson hoped for not already been done in the House?

Yep…You are the speaker. You could have made changes on the floor but chose not to. The Senate was probably you just passed this excrement sandwich and we will rubber stamp it up the chain instead of sending it back to the House with the changes you wanted.

You cannot purge an evil from your midst unless you first know what you're dealing with. I knew this was going to be bad, that's why people fought so hard to prevent the release of this Epstein file.
The assumption I'm making here is I assume there will be consequences for those who engaged in sexual abuse of children. Unfortunately given the evil that I have seen occurring in this country, especially for the last 52 years, I seriously doubt anyone will pay a price for this - as in spend one day in jail. Plus, I expect legions of corrupt federal judges will rush to shield those who engaged in this crime from exposure, and indictment.
Remember this America, I believe this transparency regarding Epstein would never have happened if the Cabal had succeeded in assassinating President Trump.
President Trump is right about.........everything.

It makes sense when you understand the NSA caught Mike Johnson with an account on a dating app for gays.
ETA: that’s the rumor anyway and his behavior is confirming this bias.

Bad look for Massie and his show of victims to not name names.
Who are they protecting?

I hope Bondi doesn’t go crazy on redactions. The democrats will blame Trump if so.

There are likely several reasons that the complete release of ail files is being opposed. The ones caught up in the sexual escapades of course oppose it. But there's the strong possibility that Epstein was blackmailing his guests, and both US and foreign intelligence agencies benefitted from this. It would be damaging to the US if we were revealed to be spying on our own allies, or extorting foreign politicians.

Johnson sitting in the corner watching another man service his bill seems like quintessential Johnon.

I believe the bill was drawn up by Massie without House input. Remember, Johnson did not want to do a vote, Massie had to use a discharge petition.

With how crazy Trump has acted on this issue, one minute saying there's nothing to see and the next saying that we need immediate investigations, it's only reasonable to blame him for any shenanigans during the release.

Will an investigation prevent the Epstein files from being released?

Why "deeply disappointed" I wonder?

BOTH parties have had access to these files for years. Who knows how many files they have added or deleted. NEITHER party is actually serious about getting justice. Too many powerful people have been compromised or blackmailed. No one will accept anything released as being complete and reliable anyway. Just release this fiction and move on to more attainable goals.
