McM has to coach, his deficiencies in the way he teaches defense and his complete inability to scheme people open on offense doesn’t change…on top of that he doesn’t inspire and motivate at a high level, a recipe for mediocre to bad teams

This is McMild’s best roster yet. No one is moving the goal posts again.

Maryland beat them by 20. Up 6 at the half.

They are shooting almost 80 percent from the field. It's amazing. Yet, under 50 percent on Free Throws.

We are up by 21 with 4 minutes to go. I can’t tell if that still means we suck or if there is still hope.

Say you’ve never watched college basketball without saying you’ve never watched college basketball.

If you don’t like CMM, then it means we suck

I've coached more basketball than you have watched.

At least wait till we get to the power 5 non conf games

The post players are light years better than lsu has had under McMahon so far

My biggest concern is still perimeter shooting. They really need someone to step up at shooting guard spot but I don’t see it on the roster

Well, we beat them by 26 so does that mean this team on half as good at MN?

It was kind of a weird night. Arkansas barely beat Winthrop, A&M barely beat Montana, Ole Miss had a close game.

A lot of floaters to the rim type buckets LSU made in this game that will not fly against competent front courts. This one seemed like a step back from last game. But Hey, get the dub and move on.

I celebrate every Tiger win. We won by 26 which is a lot better than losing which in the first half seemed a possibility, Nwoko had a big night. McKinnon had a miserable shooting night. Reid and Miller once again have trouble finishing under the basket. Thomas did a credible job and is light years ahead of his backup. Sutton had a workmanlike performance but needs to find ways to get open more. Zippur looked good in the last few minutes and needs more playing time to evaluate him.
Defense was bad but give Alcorn State some credit. They were hot and hit some amazing shots. We gave up too many offensive rebounds but looked better in second half. So another win on the way to the SEC where it will get tougher.

Pretty good assessment.
