I wish we would take offer off table

I think it’s clear that we’re in the hunt for lane and have a substantial offer on the table.
I think Florida does too.
I’ve always felt like Sexton is working the market as he knows and is expected to do . He’s got THE hot commodity and there’s at least 3 teams vying for it. It’s his job to get him the most possible.
We want answers and we get rumors, message board know it all’s, media spin and every day it’s another day without real answers. As a fan, it’s exhausting.
I have always thought that sexton was just milking this cow for all it’s worth as he should but that Lane wants to remain in Oxford at least for now. He has a rare opportunity to bring them something that many fans never thought possible. It’s been a great season. Why would he want to leave what he currently has? How can he look these players in the eye if he intends to leave after the season they’ve had?
So I can’t help but feel like we’re just being used. As I sit here now, I can’t help but want to see the rug get pulled out from Lane and Sexton by both LSU and Florida. It’d be a heck of a show.

If LSU has a substantial offer on the table, nothing wrong with calling Kiffin’s bluff and saying “we need an answer by the Monday after the Egg Bowl or the offer is off the table.”

I think the admin sees this as a win-win. Either we get Kiffin away from OM, Florida gets him, or OM breaks the bank to keep him. Either he isn't coaching at OM next year, or OM cant pay for a coach and a roster.
I hope this is a ploy and that he is not the real target.

How are we being used? We are "recruiting" the hot coach de jour, he's listening to the offer. We may or may not land him but we aren't being used.

LSU needs to hire a coach. Guarantee you Lane isn't the only coach we're communicating with right now.
