Dillingham question

I have been taking for granted that Dillingham is a quality target based on all the interest I have seen on the internet. But looking at ASU's stats I can not see for the life of me what makes him a high priority target. LSU is averaging 23.5 pts/g. ASU is averging 24.6...
What is his special skill that makes him a target?

He was carried by Skattebaw and everyone thinks he’s an offensive genius now

At this point, it's that he's a warm body.

Do you think he’s only been coaching for 2 years?

To be fair, he's down his starting quarterback, and one of the best wide receivers in the country.

He looks like a little albino mouse

Star QB has been banged up and missed some games this year. He's out for the year now. As is their starting center and #1 WR. Dilly doing a decent job with a bandaged team.

Didn’t their star qb get hurt this year?

Carried by a random white RB that he himself found from literally nowhere and signed to ASU?
Wow, what an argument!

He’s also competing in the Big 12… are we going to pretend that the Big 12 is the pinnacle of defensive talent in the country?
He also has a supposedly good QB and one of the top receivers in the country, so how is their offense underperforming this badly?

Sounds like exactly the same thing Kelly was dealing with that got him fired.

Read previous comments. His QB and #1 WR have missed games and are out for the year.

A fricking point? Versus a way inferior SOS to LSU/SEC? LFOL
If you cant average 35 pts/g and hold opponents to 18 pts/g or less you are not in contention.

Texas Tech has one of the best d lines in the country and Houston, Utah, and Iowa st all have good defenses

Because they’re hurt

He’s cheeks. Would be a severely underwhelming hire.

Well that and being a complete prick, a-hole, cocksucker, etc

He’s a really young up and comer and only has a few years of HC experience at ASU and he turned that program around. They were losers under Herm Edwards and he’s made them a league contender. It’s a decent track record when you account for the potential he still has to grow

So it’s your position that if Nussmeier and Adams were healthy all year and LSU was 8-2, Kelly still would have been fired for being a jerk?
