You're definitely the first person to think of this.

Of all this, the one thing I believe is that OM pissed him off by forcing his hand, now where that leads only time will tell

He was actually considering Auburn until his family told him to stay

The longer this goes, I think Ole Miss gets fed up.

Can you always forgive? Yes.
But can both parties forget? Probably not.

I’d say there’s a 90+% chance that’s the situation.

Another 2-3 million in exchange for an annoyed/livid fanbase and distracted team is certainly a decision though.

I don't blame Ole Miss at all. They need to know who their coach is. Signing day is early December and then the transfer portal opens in Jan. They can't be left not knowing.

know this is bringing nothing new to the table as other folks have suggested this But it truly feels like kiffin and his agent are using LSU to get a higher contract from ole Miss. He basically did similar to Auburn a couple years back. He’s a guy that craves the attention and trolling games. I think st the end of this whole circus he will end up staying pat in Oxford. Can’t help but feel theirs a high chance we’re wasting our time entertaining kiffin and his games

This emotional vomit didn’t need to be a new thread

It seems like its doing the opposite. The Ole Miss side is getting pissed off wanting this to be over with and pretty soon if he does not answer their ultimatum then the clown show is going to turn into a circus

Basically Ole Miss has given him a contract with a significant raise. he didnt sign it. They gave him a deadline so sounds to me like why would he be doing this if Sexton really thought ole miss would pay more. They are at 14.5million they have signaled they arent going higher. He is really looking to leave i think. Now where is the question.

He actually was going to Auburn and backed out due to family. I believe it's in the documentary.

Here's whats going on. He has plenty of options, and is letting the family be part of the decision.

This lets him off the hook(somewhat) at OM b/c he let "the family" keep him at OM up to this point.

At the same time, Sexton driving up the price so LK makes more money and takes pressure off of him since he said he isn't worried about the money.
Family picks where they think he should go, he agrees, leaves and takes more money. If they want to stay at OM, he makes a ton more money at OM.

All schools at risk when he holds all the cards.
pretty simple.

of the 3 places....kiff is least likely to stay at OM. they pissed him off and he pissed them off. half their people want him gone anyways now
