I remember LSU fans being like this with Saban when he was here. Every single year there were the rumors of him leaving for the NFL and he never squashed them until he finally left.

At this point, this is the biggest reason I want him to come to LSU.
Though I fully believe no matter where he goes/stays, this will continue in a year or two when he gets called by NFL teams.

Lane was right. It’s one thing to have more attendance for big games, but half empty stadiums for a top 5-10 program at home down the stretch even if it is a rent a win is weak.
Hell, LSU stadiums were 90% full during the Dianardo years vs cream puffs.
