You can interpret it both ways… It could also very easily mean that he can’t worry about what the people in Oxford think and that he has to make the best decision for himself…

This is the way to go. Lane is a known troll. He's going to have his fun with this.

I love how people take stuff they read that says absolutely nothing and then just take it to mean whatever they already believed in the first place.

And then feel its necessary to make a thread about and tell us their thoughts.

I have no clue what Lane Kiffin will or won’t do but the guy is a master troller and I don’t think any side can take his statements or posts as anything more than that. He is just as likely to take an NFL job or stay in Oxford as he is to wind up in BR or Gainsville. I have a hard time believing he makes a decision before the playoffs wherever he goes. The fact that he hasn’t signed an extension yet means he is at least listening to other teams

I would read that more positive if I were LSU / UF than Ole Miss.


But I also wouldn’t read anything into it.

Lane is telling Ole Miss to calm their own storms. Why?

1) Could be he is telling them to not worry because he’s staying

Or

2) calm your own storms because he is doing what’s right for himself and chasing another spot.


Where you land is dependent on how you already think this will play out. If you think he is staying, this will reinforce that. If you think he is leaving, this will reinforce that as well.

Stop worry and trying to guess what one of the biggest trolls in CFB is thinking. Enjoy the season while it’s here and we’ll have all our answers in a couple weeks.
