Verge needs to be fired

If what I'm hearing is true that he hasn't even offered Lane yet and is stalling on Dillingham... we are going to end up with a mid hire. If we aren't offering as much as Florida for Lane - that's also stupid.
Lincoln Riley might have been a good hire last coaching search but he is not a good fit for LSU and definitely will be just like Kelly.

I've just heard they are moving very slow when it's obvious that everyone else is moving rapidly. That scares me.

What you are hearing is true. This is a coaching search run by politicos and an AD no one in the SEC would think about hiring.

You're right man. We should fire him. We don't have enough chaos going on between the governor, firing our old ad, hiring a new ad, naming a new president, a lawsuit with our former coach...what would really help is if we also fired our new ad in 3 weeks. That would make this place super attractive for a desirable head coach. Good call I think you're on to something here

He never should've been promoted in the first place.

Verge is more than capable and is valuable due to his relationships with agents, coaches, and other ADs.
Agents weren’t even talking to LSU without an AD in place

I say wait another year if possible. Would wreck recruiting though. I dunno. Bad year to be looking for a coach. Alot of schools gonna overpay.
