IMO college football is more fun when VT is relevant. Love watching their home games.

Apparently their fans are mad about it but I think it’s as close to a perfect hire as you could get for them.

I think a big percentage does. I will say the ones that understand that we need to raise expectations know we need someone that at least understands how to build a championship culture.
He fits the bill there for sure. He would still be my top choice but if you believe the media evidently there's something there that's a barrier.

I think he’ll be a massive thorn in PSU side now.. Franklin recruits DC, Va, MD well and was a major reason that Penn State had a lot of talent

Maryland makes more sense but they can't figure out the buyout money for Locksley. Steph Curry left Under Armor yesterday so that probably doesn't help.

I said this about Miami too. I always enjoyed watching those good Miami and VT teams in the 90's and early 2000's.
