I guess the 0.1% is considering the possibility of a few teams being declared ineligible

That's a better chance than Saban coming back to LSU.

When I see that and I look at all the teams that have a good chance, all I can say is ‘STUPID BRIAN KELLY!’ I thought was was over it and resigned to this season’s utter failure but somehow my frustration is revived just now comparing our .1% chance to just about every other team in CFB with a better chance than us after all the huge expectations.

Honestly, I thought a win over bama woulda put us in decent position to make the playoff. And that was a winnable game.

This reminds me of one year a long time ago the Saints started out putrid like 2-7 or something and somebody called into the Buddy D show. In a deep Y’at accent and dead serious asked “Hey Buddy D, you think the Saints can still make it to the Super Bowl”

If a wave of tornadoes strike Indiana, the Hoosiers and Notre Dame Fighting Irish will opt out.

If a Category3-5 hurricane hits Texas, the Aggies and the Longhorn nation may sustain such damage they may refuse a playoff berth.

If an earthquake strikes southeast of Memphis, and tremors are felt in northern Alabama and southern Tennessee, Ole Miss, the Crimson Tide and Vanderbilt may refuse a playoff invitation to rebuild their campuses.

Georgia may opt out if Chinese spies spread a highly contagious virus in the Atlanta metro region.

A North Korea missile attack on Ohio will definitely keep the Buckeyes out of the playoff race.

Ten feet of snow and ice must cripple Oklahoma airports, and the Sooners may have to forfeit their game to LSU.

If this scenario unfolds, LSU will rise to 12th in the playoff poll, and will have to sweep their remaining games to gain a POTENTIAL berth.

The expectations for this year were a 9-3/8-4 type season
