Nuss and his camp have called it a college career. I heard from someone there is fear of putting more bad film out there.

Plan is out of site and out of mind. Hopefully NFL scouts kinda forget how bad this was. Absence makes the heart fonder.

He might very well be opting out but you don't need to get hit to re-injure an oblique tear. Just twist the wrong way with too much torque.

Pretty dumb. His last play will be the qb equivalent of pooing on yourself in front of the whole class. How much worse of a way can he go out? Then again, he would get fricked up by OU in the season finale.

I don’t care either way, but you believe that the only way to get injured at practice is to get hit?

This is either complete speculation or you have reliable, inside info on an injury.
If you actually know something, give a factual basis to credit your opinion.

He likely aggravated his injury while throwing the ball. That's been the issue all season. People should have realized that when Kelly said Nuss would need the bye week to heal, and yet they weren't sitting Nuss, that was coach-speak for "this injury won't be truly addressed until after the season or Nuss shuts it down for the season."

The poster you responded to didn’t really speculate on anything. He just said you don’t need to get hit to aggravate that type of injury.

His NFL stock can't drop much lower than it is.

In theory you would think he could start over and allow it time to heal. Rebuild that weaker damaged area with physical therapy and exercise. Basically a reset that allows him to get fully healthy. If his arm strength, velocity and accuracy improve that probably helps some.

How early in the second quarter do you leave? Or do you even go to games?

I don’t follow mock drafts….Is Nuss even still a possibility of being drafted or is his route gonna be Undrafted FA?

Maybe I’m wrong, but I think any dreams of Nuss being drafted are probably dead

Nuss has to be the first qb in history to have never gone in the tent or received trainer attention while nursing an oblique tear all season.
