Would be really funny if the guy referring Swallwell, James, etc gets referred himself for improperly obtaining mortgage records.

This is a good question. Is there anything legally that precludes him from obtaining them?
As much as I loathe Swalwell, it's hard to believe that dozens of Congresscritters of both parties haven't done the same thing.

WSJ: Fannie Mae Watchdogs Probed How Pulte Obtained Mortgage Records of Key Democrats
Looks like they tried to stop the watchdog’s report by firing them but apparently that did not work.

Thanks, Decatur. Doesn't seem like a bright line, does it?
Weren't there IRS agents who were prosecuted for only examining conservatives?

If he's declaring the DC area as his primary residence would that not be a disqualified for being a Republican from the San Francisco, CA area?
Seems like a local issue back in CA more than a mortgage fraud issue.
Did he take out a FNMA loan or a portfolio loan?

@Pulte isn't holding back!
There is no reason to "lawfare" cretins who've done legitimately illegal things.
A couple declaring two primary residences 2500mi apart is not definitively a breach of law. Especially true if the spouse/kids stay in CA, while the husband works in DC.
For example, Letitia James situation is a completely different story

According to Grok he can actually call DC his primary residence while getting a loan since he lives there the majority of the time. There has to be more to this for them to bringing referrals.

This is the It's-Not-Lawfare I voted for.
