He was a student at her middle school, previously.
He is now 17 but article doesnt say his age at start of relationship.
Age of consent in Illinois is 17, but he may have been younger at start or it could be "position of authority" type case.
Edit to include charge:
Jessica Bergmann, 34, of the 600 block of South Pierce Avenue in Wheaton, faces charges of criminal sexual assault - position of authority, and two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse - position of authority.
