These are a few guys I like that I think could do well with a job like Arkansas, OK State, Va Tech, etc.

Eric Morris- UNT. Offensive guru who recruited and developed Cam Ward and Mateer. This is a package deal most likely as he has a true FR QB that is setting records.

Pat Fitzgerald- Cleared of all charges and won a lawsuit. Starting to make the interview rounds and is excited to coach again.

Dan Mullen- Has done great at UNLV and dont think he deserves a top 10 job, but again with the jobs menitoned above it would be good

I honestly think Coach O would do well at a place like OK State that is dead in the mud. No identity, 1-16 in last 17 conference games, recruiting sucks. They need a firecracker in there and he recruited Texas hard and has many contacts that get some dudes in Stillwater.

Northwestern doesn’t deserve to ever have a winning season again after firing him

I think he's a good coach, and Penn State should be looking at him.

He's a B10 guy, and needs to stay there. Wisconsin should be kicking Fickell out and getting Fitzgerald.

With the openings, you'd have to think now is the time for Matt Campbell unless he's continuing to hold out for an NFL job

What he's done at ISU is amazing but I think the shine is going to come off those 7-8 win seasons at some point (not that it should, but he's made that the standard).t

Little bit of history there between AU and Mullen and Cam Newton. Don't think that would ever happen.

There had to be a woman administrator involved.

Add to this list...And I am not saying LSU will or should hire them just names that have had some level of success at places that could end up elsewhere

Sonny Dykes at TCU (also SMU and Tech but failed at Cal)
Tyson Helton at WKU
Clay Helton at Georgia Southern (and USC among others)
Bert - Illinois (Wisconsin but failed at Arkansas)
Jeff Traylor - UTSA (Texas High school coaching royalty)
Joey McGuire - Texas Tech (Texas High School coaching royalty) High NIL
Charlie Huff - Southern Miss (Marshall and Alabama assistant under Saban)

Auburn probably feels like they just fired a Dan Mullen type guy in Freeze (and Harsin to some degree).

Dude led the Wildcats to a 3-9 record in 2021 and a 1-11 record in 2022.

Y’all are funny.

#1 candidate should be Lane.

#2 should be Ohio State offensive coordinator Brian Hartline

Pretty sure Arkansas still has PTSD from their last Coach with the last name Morris. Don't think they will be making any such moves with a potential Coach with the last name Morris.
