I may be overreacting but I think we’re in a bad spot with the governor pulling the strings. I’m hoping for the best but I’m expecting the worst!

Absolutely. We’re back to 90’s with political overreach good ole boy network. Wasn’t cleaned up until Saban came in 2000.

By the time we actually hire a coach in a month or two, this Landry stuff will have faded away. There was an article in The Athletic with an anonymous CFB agent that basically said those exact words.
We’ll still hire a big name, but the only thing I would expect to be different going forward is the length of the contract. Can’t imagine anything longer than 5-6 years.

Rousse is the Athletic Director in REALITY and is calling the shots. He pretty much said that in his initial press conference.
