Have Spam Phone Calls Gotten Out of Hand

This afternoon, I received 6 phone calls in rapid succession within 5 minutes of each other.
Have any one of you guys had the same spam calls affecting you?
Some of them are the same recording, or variations of the same call.

I get close to a dozen calls a day with most leaving voicemails.

I have spam filter through att so i rarely get calls. But when i check my spam call list there are dozens of calls a day.

Nope, I block the numbers and report them as spam when they come in, I rarely get one now, same with texts.
I NEVER answer a number I don't know.

About a month ago I started answering them. If you wait until the end of their speech, it gives you the option to opt out. I answered every call and opted out of each one.
A month later, a whole new set of spam calls has started and these recording dont mention an opt out feature.

Silence unknown callers on iOS. If it's an actual human, on iOS they get told to immediately call back, and it will punch them through, otherwise you won't even see them as a missed call.

Yes, I’m getting them non stop. I’m 65 and just go on Medicare and all day and evening I’m getting calls about anything Medicare related. Of course they are using local area codes so hard to screen them

How are these frickers able to leave voicemail when my phone doesn't even ring and there are no recent calls?

Don't set up VM.

Done...I will report in a few days to see if I still get the same volume of callers.

Meh. I give Google some credit here - since they started their screening, I get maybe 1 spam voicemail every 6 to 8 weeks, if that. I don't think it even rings with Spam anymore. I mean, it was bad 3 or 4 years ago, but not recently.
Even legit folks that I don't talk to often have to get past my Google call screener.

They spoof, I used to get a ton of calls from an area code I used to live in and knew it was bogus, took me a while to build up my shite list when I changed to my new area code.

No VM and they can't leave a message, I know it's not for all especially if you have kids and a family.
Maybe it's just my provider, they are all different.

There’s a company, incogni, that you get through NordVPN, removes your information from companies. I’ve used it for a year and I have minimal spam calls.

They are starting to figure out the default of "Do Not Disturb" if they ring from the same number 3 times in 3 mins the call will be allowed to ring through.
