Wasn’t he disciplined for trying to “cover up” (protect) LSU from something they did wrong with Title 9 investigation?
He showed a lot of loyalty I would guess in the attempt or at the very least in taking the fall?

He is a black administrator who is married to a Morial, and as someone mentioned, he probably knows every thing that has happened in the LSU athletic department, good and bad, over the last, oh 3 decades

Verge didn’t “take the fall” for anyone. Rather, he threw people under the bus for not reporting while being suspended himself for not reporting.

Because he is likely blackmailing LSU. Guy is a total POS, but has his fans on here, which is hilarious.
Literally, no one else screws up as much as he does and still gets promoted, but he found a way, which guarantees that he his holding some kind of cards against LSU.

You mean protecting his godson? What did that have to do with protecting LSU? It was the reason LSU was in trouble in the first place. Stop acting like this guy is some martyr for LSU. He is a POS.
