Almost every top tier dual threat QB has been hurt this season in the NFL.

I think we are about to see a shift back to the traditional pocket passer.

A good QB will be able to scramble and/or stay in the pocket.

Doesn't seem like it happens very often.

I agree with this, but scrambling for a qb should be a first down and slide or out of bounds.

Seems like they all get hurt regardless.

Every QB basically dual threat now… the Bengals running RPO’s with Flacco

You mean like how almost all of them work?

Jayden Daniels is in year 2 and doesn't realize his team is garbage.

Lamar has been pretty durable and operates exactly how you describe

RPOs have almost nothing to do with QB mobility

Nice “facts”

How about Josh Allen? Jalen Hurts?

2 of the best mobile QBs in the league

Did Mahomes get hurt and I missed it?

What you want is a pocket passer that is mobile enough to scramble when needed. You dont want a dual threat. Josh Allen would be the prototype pocket passer that can run when needed. Hes not a statue back there like Manning was but he's also not Vick.

I didn’t want to put him in and have people argue about whether he was a scrambling QB

None of Jayden’s patch work weapons can get open so he goes into frick it and run mode. Peters and co. were feeling themselves way too much after last season. Better be active as hell in free agency with all the cap space they have.

He’s 3rd in the NFL in rushing yards for QBs in the last 5 years. He’s more than a pocket passer that can run

I read OP and checked if both Hurts and Allen were injured yesterday.

Y'all need to ditch Kliff. He can't sustain an NFL offense.

A draft of higher picks + another offseason + coaching upgrades will do you good long term.

Mahomes is who you are looking to describe.

Allen is much more of an active runner

100%

Quinn great culture guy but this team is a disaster this season and he’s just boneheaded and refuses to make any adjustments to defense with Whitt. It’s like Kelly’s loyalty to House.

Rivera left the cupboard extremely bare and then they didn’t have many picks last draft or this upcoming so hopefully they deal off a lot of the team at the deadline for some extra picks. Oh well future is still bright. Just so many holes on defense. Terry started this whole shite by holding out
