I didnt even have him on my list , but holy shite thats a grand slam.

Best offensive guy in the conference. That side of the ball would be killer. Every single year.

I like this me

I really do not follow tennessee football..
But I like this offense.

I just hope whoever it is doesn't run out of the shotgun on 4th and foot at the goal line

Not sure you pay Kelly millions to go away to hire Heupel.

Yeah he puts together some good offenses, but at Tennessee it looks like he’s settling in to regular 3 and 4 loss seasons.

This year Tennessee has played 3 ranked teams and lost them all.

I agree that this doesn’t seem legit….but if so, you grab Heupel and run like you stole something

Tennessee isn’t exactly an easy place to win, and he brought them out of the gutter and got to the playoff. That’s pretty impressive considering what they were coming from.

Does this offense consist of more than one kind of running play? It seems like all I see from Lsu is the HB straight up the center arse. Maybe that is just because we don't have a quarterback that will pull the ball and run around the end

You do for Kiffin though, right?

After making the playoffs in 2024 and losing most of their contributors.

depends on his personnel but traditionally yea. Its the art briles offense. Its veer with huge splits from the WR and depending on the team they are playing and own personnel, big splits with the Oline.

the whole point of the offense overall is to get wide WR splits which forces teams to get guys out the box allowing the run. Usually its inside/outside zone scheme with some counter plays. But if there is a running Qb, you will see a lot of option or QB Read and lots of RPO.

But they all adapt it in some ways. Even kiffin runs an off shoot of the Veer and shoot in some ways. he uses a lot more motion and bunch though.

Isn’t there talk that UT folks are getting impatient with Huepel? Not saying that’s right or wrong, but if true then all this smoke around him could easily be his agent trying to 1) make UT feel like Huepel’s in demand and/or 2) find a landing spot for him if needed.
