Got to think they have an inside track to Sumrall or their preferred candidate if they make this move with the other openings. I think this gives us insight into the Florida and LSU jobs.

You’d have to think back channeling was going on before this move was made, but Auburn is crazy as frick so who knows

A tweet that makes college football awesome for your viewing pleasure

They fire a lot of coaches...

Seems like them and Florida have an opening every 2-3 years.

He was an absolute disaster. I thought he would at least match his Ole Miss status. But he didn't even come close.

Yep, they are quick on the trigger. I thought Freeze would do well there. But I also thought BK would do well here.

Yeah, maybe stick with a coach for five years if the other way isn't working. I can understand Florida or LSU being impatient and not accepting mediocrity, but Auburn seems delusional about who they are.

At least they didn’t try to fake an affair to get the coach fired this time

A program with a more recent national championship than Florida?

Dammit. I was looking forward to Diego Pavia kneeling out on Hugh Freeze one more time.

There are Auburn fans on the CC board saying they are at least as good, maybe a better, job the LSU and Florida.

They are definitely delusional.

Look at Auburn over the last 20+ years. They will turn on a coach with the quickness. Way worse than LSU.

I wonder if them cutting bait so quickly hurts their chances at certain coaches.

Most coaches probably feel like they can turn the ship around in a year, especially in this day and age.

Probably doesn’t hurt their chances but I do wonder.
