Is this supposed to be a convincing argument?

It’s the perfect example.

Belichick had to bring in 70 new players at a college where he had zero ties and zero collegiate HC experience.

You’re saying Saban has it the same or worse at LSU when he comes back?

Go read the on3 interview with Saban and see if you think he wants to get back in.

quote:

“It’s not good for player development. I don’t know that it’s good for anything, just the direction we’re headed,” said Saban, voicing the same concerns his former Michigan State colleague, basketball coach Tom Izzo, did this week about former G League professional players committing to play for college teams.

Well he's got one old player named Max Johnson. How's that going?

Once again, The North Carolina job was light years away from what the LSU job is. Coach SABAN is the GOAT. However, he’s made it clear that he left Alabama because of the craziness of NIL.

FWIW, that team looks to be getting better every week. People were just unrealistic with 70-80 new players

There's no evidence that Belichick is a capable coach without Tom Brady.

Without Tom Brady starting, Belichick has 82 wins and 101 losses, including one playoff win, across ten seasons as an NFL head coach.

In other words, he's a loser. And his record at UNC bears that out.

And he's terrible to his QB's, as he was to Brady, and he is being right now to Max Johnson.

100%. 80-100 work weeks for people in their 70’s is not possible. He’s too old.

You can retire and live to 100 these days. But you can’t work that hard until you’re 100. Just can’t.
