Are you Experienced? DMT edition

Joe Rogan is a big advocate of hallucinogens. His latest episode with Andrew Gallimore is one of many on the topic. A trip on DMT is short-lived, around 15 minutes or so. It seems to be a milder approach to alternate realities than Ayahuasca or Psilocybin Mushrooms.
I'd be lying to deny my curiosity. But I am afraid of damaging my current reality forever. Pretty much a brown and clear spirits guy.
How about it, OT? Any real DMT experiencers out there willing to share?

Yes, in high school believe it or not. We ordered it from a scientific research lab and freebased/smoked it.
Probably the single most intense experience you can have. Sincerely tracks its often described status as the “spirit molecule.” Given some of the physiological understandings of DMT, it’s endogenous and levels are highest when we are young, dreaming, and we get a huge shot of it when we die. The impact it has on time perception, emotions, visuals, leads me to believe that DMT actually pushes us into the afterlife we think we are going to have. That is, I’ve had 2 experiences on it: 1) felt like heaven and the world opened up into the most beautiful warmth and understandings; and 2) had a horrible experience that felt like hell for 3 hrs but it was only 8 minutes.
Never done it again, but after my experience, I think there’s something to it as the “spirit molecule.” Truly fascinating stuff IMO, but I’m done with it for now…
And no, I’m not a heathen. I’m just agnostic at this point in my life.

You'll be fine. You just have to remember it's temporary. I've seen people have bad trips but i never have. My worse trip was some shitty Shrooms in Amsterdam that just made me feel off.
Lsd can last too long and you feel weird the day after.
I feel like I'm too old for that now.

Funny enough I used to smoke it in high school too.

Yeah, I fear I'd be the bad trip guy. I'm on the Debbie Downer side in real life.

Are you Experienced?
When I was a younger person in North Louisiana you could go out in the cow pasture after a rain and find the mushrooms growing out of cow patties with (I thinkI remember correctly) a purple ring around the top.
A blender, a pack of Kool-Aid and you would for sure have an experience.
Lasted a lot longer than 15 minutes

If you want to risk becoming a vegetable or a mentally insane person then go ahead.

I've never done ayahuasca, but it is in no way milder than shrooms. It's different, but very intense. I've experienced ego loss on shrooms multiple times where time, space, and self do not exist. The thing about mushrooms is it's a gradual come up. DMT is not gradual at all. It drops the fricking floor from underneath you instantly. You're propelled into another dimension and experience things that can't be described.

ive eaten plenty mushrooms/ did acid twice.
however, it's my understanding that dmt is the chemical released in our brain upon birth/death. just knowing that kind of turned me off to recreational use. ill just go on and save it lol

It’s a roller coaster vs a rocket ship comparing mushrooms to dmt.
LSD is more a long strange car ride. Like the easiest to settle into but be prepared to delete a day
Or so I’ve heard

It's hard to come away from an intense psychedelic experience like DMT or heroic doses of shrooms/acid/etc. without feeling there is something more out there, at least in my personal experience.

I done shrooms and acid, some of the best times and feelings ever and it’s been 20 years since I’ve done it

They say when you die your brain is flooded with DMT. So I guess I will experience it then, when my Creator decides it’s time to go.

Tell the blue lady I said hello.
There are consistencies across many peoples’ experience that bother me too much. You’re dabbling in the shadow realm.
Dark arts.

I can’t speak for Ayahuasca but DMT can be immeasurably more intense than psilocybin. Expect complete ego death if you take enough.
My first experience I went into it having absolutely no idea what was about to happen. As soon as as it started a saw nothing but black snakes in my vision before I went deeper. Can’t tell you what happened in the depths because words could never explain it. As I came back to I was hooting and hollering at the top of my voice…”LSU is going to win the National Championship! LSU is going to win the National Championship.” That was *October* 2003.

That’s how we used to do it. The lab stuff you find today is no match for it.

Dance with the devil at your own peril. I warn you not to do it.

I want to know about the “beings” that so many see while on this- described as somewhat superior and disinterested in you/ maybe even mocking or teasing you. I’ve been told you can communicate with them telepathically and they aren’t necessarily warm and fuzzy.
