Just tell Scott that you can’t give any more massive contacts spanning 10 years etc. Scott needs to be the guy to make the hire or at least have some role in the process because the AD is the head coaches direct chain of command

It was either him or this guy. He was the head of DOTD during Dumbell’s administration. It was a choice of Landry (who would have given his left nut to be the governor) or this guy who was in charge of the roads in the state of Louisiana. Landry was the lesser evil of these two.
