It could be worse.
We could be in the days before Demolition Man and wiping our arses with 3 seashells after eating fine dining at Taco Bell listening to 30 second classical commercial jingles.

Bulletproof…can use one of these to make felony approaches and/or officer rescues versus waiting around for Bearcat/SWAT.

I assume those are electric? And likely very heavy if they are spec’d out with other gear or armor. Meaning the battery will drain faster.
I really hope the batteries die on the highway during an extended high speed chase…just for the hilarious fallout and memes.

Not a fan of the vehicle but those look pretty good with the police force package

You can see it now, chasing a bad guy in an ICE and the battery dies and you just watch him drive off toward LA.

I would assume the officers that drive these have a dedicated patrol car and don't share across shifts. A lot of departments hand their vehicle off to the next officer. Those cruisers often run damn near 20 hours a day. This seems like a specialty unit's fleet and not the entire department's.
Not a fan of E cars in general.

Is this the one with Wesley Snipes? And when people cuss they are ticketed for a violation?

My SIL works for LVPD. The idea is certain patrol routes are shorter distances and electric will save on the fuel expense. So say that patrol is in Naked City (high crime area with more concentrated patrols) they run these instead.

Exactly; big city cops have less area to cover and do more sitting in a unit than driving. It’s not feasible for deputy sheriff’s or small departments with large coverage areas.

That was my thought as well. As ugly as those things are, they don'r really look all that bad with this paint scheme.

Looks like they're going solve a murder, death, kill.

That seems like a really expensive solution when a much more reasonably priced option would suffice.

I highly doubt those will be involved in any high speed chases on highways.
Highways are the domain of the Nevada State Police and the Clark County Sheriff.
