The boosters wanted BK out (it was their call and their call only in the end). No one should care if he was in the meeting with the Board as he was only there as a formality.

Anyone who thinks he's throwing his weight to influence the next pick is senile.

Landry will do anything to attach his name to the news….Scott Woodward made this happen and Landry is taking credit.

The story is literally printed about Landry being in the final meeting that excluded Woodward. Landry controls who the next president of LSU will be. His fingerprints are, indeed, all over this thing.

If we had JBE, BK would still be here.

Landry knows LSU fans are his large constituents. If he can fire BK which allows Kiffin or whoever to win at LSU then of course he will use it. He loves Ops. But no, he isn’t making any decision on new hire.

The same boosters that have the money are the same ones who donate to him. They are more powerful than Landry or anyone in the process.

The meeting to make the decision on Kelly was hosted by Landry at the Governor's mansion and the meeting excluded the Woodward. Get your head out your rear and look at what's right in front of you. You're damn right Landry's fingerprints are all over this decision.

LO-fricking-L

Landry got more than his fingerprints on this. He’s got both hands and feet working this shite.

This is Louisiana politics at its finest

BK had to go. He had lost the team the fans and the boosters. Landry May have facilitated it he could have blocked it like Jindal did with Les but I am glad he didn’t. Now once Rouse is in Landry can go back to the Mansion and get out of the way

Landry was involved but not as much as everyone thinks. This was BoS/donors involving him because 1) the BoS answers to him and 2) we don't have a president.

This was a huge move and the optics COULD get bad. They brought him in the loop. He didn't spearhead it.

The Governor mansion meeting happened on Sunday evening long after the initial SW / BK discussion. He did not spearhead the decision but facilitated it when it was clear donor / SW interests had aligned.

He will not be involved in any future decision making

Cmon, bruh. Landry rented a tiger to be on the sideline of a game

You really think he’s done influencing all of this?

This. If LSU had a sitting President, then Landry likely not involved.

I would think it was him and others being the reason Kelly got fired.

So for that I thank him.

You are half right. Scotty got us in this mess and Landry got us out.
Landry earned my vote.

Like it or not Landry has to be involved. We don’t have a permanent President, you can’t let the BOS do it and SW has shown what kind of mess he is capable of.
