I think some of the public shaming and vitriol aimed at Kelly was out of line

I’m prepared to get shat on here but I really don’t care. I’m also very pissed off at the state of things but we’re moving on. I understand that BK just made a ton of money today and that people dislike him as a person, but the guy has worked 30+ years towards achieving a life goal and has now come to the realization that he will never achieve it. Yes, much of it was his own fault, but that sucks for him.

To take pictures and make fun of him when he was just trying to go out and enjoy lunch with his wife like any one of us would want to do if we’re having a bad day is some low life bs. Maybe I’m too “soft” for feeling that way but I think it’s the truth.

I get it but his tantrum after the Florida game and calling us spoiled killed almost any goodwill he had left.

I'll agree with you somewhat. It sucks to lose your job no matter who you are.

But if you were one of the players getting your arse chewed by him when he can't even bother to put in 40 hrs a week, you might feel different.

We all have the option to go through our lives and frick people out of money, mislead people, etc.

I choose to not live my life like that and, in turn, people treat me well and with respect IRL. BK chose to come here with $100,000,000 guaranteed to him and he had no intention of ever making it worth our while financially. From the fans, to the players, to the school, to the state. He is a piece of shite who’s reaping what he sows. I have no sympathy for him and I’m sure you think you’re a great person for making this post, but encouraging this type of shite isn’t good for anyone. Feel sorry for him all you want, just keep it to yourself

Except for the fact that Kelly is absolutely EXCREMENT of a human being, I would agree with you. Mercy triumphs over justice, but not this time.

This is the level of maturity of too many people nowadays.

If there is a person someone doesn't like, that let's the individual off the hook to act without character because their target doesn't isn't deemed worthy of respect. Work, sports, politics, education, etc., it happens in all fields.
It's one thing to have an opinion on a professional's poor performance. To publicly shame a guy for having a meal out in our community is petty. We could all do better.

How about you blame the guy that gave him the contract.

No one in their right mind would have not taken that contract.

I get everyone has a lot of dislike for Kelly and the majority of it is deserving, but you act like he did something underhanded by signing a contract the university proposed to him.

I feel bad it didn’t work out. Just shitty for everyone involved.

Hey. We did get 1 more Heisman quarterback though!

Who would’ve thought at the nadir of the Miles era within less than 10 years LSU would have TWO Heisman winning quarterbacks!

The need to be outraged and degrade others has gotten completely out of hand. You can hate the job he did as a coach but the man hasn’t done anything worthy of being hated as a human being.

Some of the shite I’ve read and heard the last couple days is just so over the top to the point of just weird behavior.

People need to calm the frick down.

I’m with you.

Don’t like the guy. Glad he’s gone. Think he’s a prick.

But leave him alone. You can both not like someone and leave them be. I think this state is showing its colors by doing this. We are a kind people until someone is “other” or part of the out group.

Why not just treat people with respect all the time? Dude is still a human.

Maybe you should keep your opinion to yourself. The OP would like to take the high road. You've probably burnt alot of bridges in your life unnecessarily with this way of thinking.
All this BS you just posted... unless you know Kelly personally is just a guess.
