A student government body at Loyola University New Orleans has denied a newly-formed chapter of Turning Point USA the ability to become an official student organization on campus.
"Breaking: Turning Point USA was denied the ability to charter as an organization affiliated with Loyola University New Orleans at the Oct. 15 Student Government Association senate meeting," according to a one-sentence story from the school's newspaper, The Maroon.
The denial means that the chapter will not have access to school resources, including reserving space for campus events.

Loyola was a religious based school I thought? Makes sense to reject a Christian based student organization that brings education into the atmosphere. Can’t have that diversity though take root

Many conservative Christians critique Jesuits for their involvement with or adoption of liberation theology (especially in Latin America) and for advocating for more liberal positions on issues like:
LGBTQ+ inclusion and ministry (e.g., the work of some high-profile Jesuits).
A more flexible approach to moral issues such as contraception and divorce.
A perceived downplaying of traditional doctrine in favour of social justice activism.
Emphasis on "Discernment" and "Finding God in All Things"
Critics argue that the traditional Jesuit focus on personal discernment and Ignatian Spirituality (finding God in all things) can lead to an over-emphasis on individual conscience that, for some, appears to supersede the magisterium (the teaching authority of the Church) and historical doctrine. They see this as a breeding ground for theological modernism.
Influence in Higher Education: Jesuit universities are often seen as too secular or liberal-leaning, with some conservative Christians arguing that these institutions promote ideologies that contradict Catholic teaching.

Jesuits are not Christians. At least not those who actually follow the Jesuit cult. There could be those who are nominally Jesuit and still Christian.

I don't hate them, I feel sorry for them. I thank God I am not blinded by the hate and ignorance that drives them.

Jesuits also defied the Vatican when it came to slavery. Vatican opposed it, Jesuits bought and sold.

So they are for being against the first amendment. The party of violence and shredding the constitution. Got it!

My alma mater. It was a great experience when I was there. I'm shocked and ashamed by the news. It's a Catholic university and was always welcoming. The students came from all over the world and lots from Central and South America. Really good people.

To be fair, in my limited and not recent exposure - many more were folks that wanted to go to Tulane and not those trying to know Christ
