A) What starting 11 are you starting @ Bama?

B) What game plan are you implementing?

C) What aspects of their defense are you attacking?

Nuss would start that's for damn sure. If he stinks then you pull him. Can't start MVB in Tuscaloosa. If shite goes south, dude can lose all confidence.

Nuss starts.

Harlem Berry runs the ball until they stop it. Nothing cute.

Or stack the line.. then I start throwing a few screens and short outs..

Suddenly I fire a few downfield as they are attempting defend the run / Short routes...

When they loosen up.. I go back to the run.... with some play action to boot..

I would watch the SC game and call the SC OC and ask him what he saw in his scouting of Bama.

They have to have some weaknesses, hopefully we have players capable of executing against them.

Nuss is starting.

That's the only definite right now. Would have to look at film from Bama and the playbook to see what the offense would actually look like, but i'm thinking heavy on shallow crosses and run game to begin and if the run game is working, run some play action amd RB draws. Use Johnson as RB and receiver so I can have him and Berry both on the field in the red zone to keep double teams off of Green.

Also gonna run a few routes with the fast receivers. Have Hilton on one side and Watkins on the other, clear out the DBs and have a check down behind the LBs.

That was a classic trap game for Alabama.

They were on the road vs a shitty team after beating 4 ranked conference teams in consecutive weeks with a bye on the horizon.

I wouldn’t put much stock in what SC was able to do.

Short downfield passes to move the ball.

End around runs (not up the middle into a wall)

Then some deep bombs.

1st down: Bubble screen 4 yards behind LOS

2nd down: Dive up the middle

3rd down: Pass play with every route being short of the sticks

have you guys watched Nuss play this year? the man might as well be wearng a cast on his throwing arm. he cannot throw the ball. you're guaranteeing another blowout.

Puss cannot throw or run the ball very well right now, but you can't start MVB.

Start with Puss and run the ball. If needed, pull and insert MVB if the game gets away from him.

THIS is exactly why sitting Puss for LaTech and/or SLU was warranted. That way you have MVB ready to go and not cold like he may be.

Only problem is Alabama defensive line looks stout, our o-line looks weak and passive..

Maybe a new offensive scheme will help ??

I implement under center formations and have Pyburn lead block on power runs for Berry. No more zone blocking scheme.

WR end arounds with play action. Designed roll outs. Throw across the middle. Bench Nuss.

I can promise you 22 is starting and playing from can to can’t!

My starting QB would have to be no less than 80%+ healthy. Nuss was clearly compromised in the 2nd half. Can’t have that

Up front??? I have no idea really but I’m not playing Davis at RT

I formation with Kaleb as tail back and Pyburn at full. Three yards per play until we pull up and throw a 50/50 to to Green on the post.
