It's Jon Sumrall. Spelling his name correctly is not that difficult.

He’s going to get a hard look. But idk if I’m ok with Tulane to LSU. That’s a BIG jump.

I think Napier from ULL to UF shows that’s a pretty high risk move.

Maybe Summerall can hire Kiffen as OC.

Yep. He will be a failure. Let him to a P5 school. We don’t hire Tulane’s HC.

He took over Willie Fritz’s team that was rolling. Absolutely should not hire him

Sumrall is a good choice. Young, good recruiter. Might do well at LSU

If it’s him that means LSU struck out on better options though

Would it be pride or pragmatism if LSU doesn’t hire him?

The pressure and expectations are exponentially higher at LSU than Tulane, and it’s not even in the same universe.

Napier crushed it at ULL but was a disaster at UF (and not altogether that cheap either).

He’s going to be an SEC head coach next whether it’s at LSU, Kentucky, or Auburn

Dude has paid his dues and is ready for the next level

Our last three coaches, whom had to be fired, came from Oki state, ole miss/USC, and Notre dame.

There is no guarantee. Go with the most driven guy to succeed

And a dozen+ big-name P4 coaches have left their school and failed at a different P4 school. Including the coach you just fired.

There is zero guarantee with any bucket of coaches you hire from.

Lincoln Riley is also failing at USC. Jimbo Fisher failed at Texas A&M.

Big test next Friday night at Top 25 Memphis on ESPN. Can he handle the distractions, go on the road on prime time with the nation watching and win?

This might be a top 25 matchup. Tulane just missed the top 25 this week (27th).

I have no idea why people can't understand that.

BOS knows we love to airplane watch. no way they would take away the fun of driving 55 miles down the road.
