Literally no one is in Kelly’s camp

In all past LSU coaching changes there was always a % of the fan base and media that still supported the out going coach and thought firing them was a bad move. There is no one supporting Kelly. Some maybe against the huge buyout but no one is supporting Kelly. This is how you know how truly toxic things had become.

Winning cures all but when you’re a prick and can’t beat top 25 teams with regularity, you’re alone on an island. Good riddance.

I dont think he could land a HS job at this point.

Stevie Wonder could see how bad it was during the second half Saturday night. There was no recovery from that epic shite show.

I was thinking just the other day about how much of a players coach he is not. Did he ever once celebrate, fist bump or even smile or acknowledge when one of his players made a good play during the game? All he did was bitch and scowl.

I’d love to know how the coordinators and assistant coaches feel about all this

Hell yeah, there were old grannies that cried when Miles was let go, and half the bayou was up in arms for O.

Yeah, I don't know how you go from seizing all momentum in the game to completely falling apart in the second half. It made no sense.

It's because no one ever actually liked him.

Misey96 was defending his ratchet arse up to 2 weeks ago.
Ran around tRant with his hair on fire shaming anyone talking bad about Kelly.
fricking band dork that forgot he is in football support and has no clue how to play.

He just never seemed to be fully bought in. I think he's likely done coaching. Not everyone can keep up with the pace until they are 70 years old like Saban.

I started supporting CBK up to 3-4 games into the season. Then I started watching his attitude towards reporters, media, etc and he really stood out as an a-hole. Not even mentioning his attitude after losing a game how he treated everyone else. Someone said toxic, that is correct.

The #1 rule of coaching... don't embarass your employer. Saturday was brand-damaging embarrassment.

Will become an all-time "what really happened?"

Because his natural instinct when taking momentum whether in a game or the program at large was to rest on his laurels instead of pressing it like blackjack. The best coaches know when to go for the jugular.
His conservative arse would fall back into "just hold on" mode.

It’s pretty weird, but I’m completely agnostic towards Kelly. Always have been. Going back I hated Orgeron, loved Miles and Saban. Kelly just garners zero emotion out of me.
I supported Kelly only because he was the coach at LSU and I wanted LSU to win. I didn’t like him, nor did I hate him. Same now. I don’t like him, but I don’t hate him.
ETA: All I really care about right now is that LSU finds stability with the next coach. They have to or the program is going to be in trouble.

Yep, it's clear Brian Kelly dialed it in. Those excursions at the beach during a bye week was not a good sign.
My hope for a hungry LSU coach. My suggestion - mortgage the State of Louisiana and throw the checkbook at Nick Saban. But that's just me.
Jon Gruden says hello.

The most mind boggling shite was hearing him rant and rave about his teams lacking a killer instinct when anyone with a brain knew it was him and his soft arse mentality.

He’s an odd duck. From what I could see, he never really connected personally with anyone. You don’t see him with other coaches, friends, family, or even celebrating player successes.
It was the odd experience when leaving Notre Dame as well. No one was in his camp and he had made them better.
Not sure about Grand Valley.
