Kelly Will be One of the Only Ex-Coaches Not Revered in Some Way

Dinardo gets some nostalgia love and improved the program.
Saban is now in good graces with the fanbase since retirement.
Les gets some love for how hard his teams played and we laugh about some of the bad stuff.
O is the loveable coonass that brought us 2019.
I'm too young to remember Hallman but Kelly will get mentioned in the same negative light as the years go by. There is literally no one that wasn't ready to see him go.

You talk in about Coach 3 and out? He’ll be remembered not for good stuff

He will be the Smoke Laval of football…

No, Smoke went to the equivalent of the playoffs twice in 5 years
He’s actually got some receipts

You know it must kill him that even Ed O could win a natty here but he couldn't

22 Bama game is the only good memory I have of Kelly

No. He didn’t literally do any such thing. He “brought the magic back”.

He got JD5 here and so for that there are some good memories. That’s about as far as it goes though. Guy being a prick personally doesn’t help his case.

Literally

Hallman and Archer aren’t fan favorites. I don’t remember Hallman ever coming back for anything but he never did anything to honor him for either.
Kelly won’t be invited back. He went out like Dinardo refusing to make changes and letting his pride stand in the way of winning.

Flash in the pan, won with Curley's talent

Except for going for a two point conversion against Alabama to win a game, I cannot think of a single thing that would get him revered.

Well, his tenure was awful. The highlight of it was the year after O was fired lmao.
