No to Freeman, If I wanted Freeman; I would have hired him instead of Kelly 4 years ago.

He DEFINITELY gets an interview if it’s me. Great young coach.

He’s from Arizona, played at ASU, started his coaching career at ASU, and now is living his dream coaching at ASU

He might be persuaded to leave Tempe, but he’s at his dream job.

Why not?

He’s done very well at Arizona State and is good young mind.
And you can probably get him for a bit less than a big name guy

I hope whoever is in charge of the hiring the next coach does their due diligence and hires a good coach not just a popular name.

Essentially a Will Wade type persona that would instantly inject enthusiasm into the program

He's an ASU grad, and has had one great year as a coach. He also loses his shite way too easily if something doesn't go his way. I feel like the LSU job would overwhelm him.

Arizona has been pretty good lately for LSU. JD5 and Jay Johnson. Do we triple dip?

He’s a little too high strung for the LSU job. Good coach though
