Considering his age and the amount of money I don’t see a scenario where he doesn’t force LSU to pay him every cent of that buyout. It’s the most on brand Brian Kelly move ever.

That's not how it works at all. None of that happened at LSU or resulted in damages to LSU, you can't just fire someone with cause for something that happened somewhere else years ago.

Maybe but he also may want to coach again and is really supposed to look for work to get the buyout. Also the the buyout is paid over a period of time. I dont think it's crazy to think they could negotiate something both parties could be happy with.
