I love the third world and I see no reason why our society doesn't embrace their virtues.

We have so much to learn from them and their diverse viewpoints.

quote:

The first thing that comes to me is fear," Mariam tells the BBC as people prepare to vote for a president and parliament on Wednesday.

"I know that killings of people with albinism happen especially at election time in Tanzania, when witchcraft beliefs intensify. That's why I don't take part in campaigns… I am so afraid."

quote:

Superstition has made those with the condition targets. The false belief that body parts of people with albinism bring wealth, luck, or political success have driven attacks and killings across Tanzania.

quote:

They came at a late hour of the night, cut off my right hand [from above the elbow] and took it away, and then they also cut off my left hand.

"The next day I was taken to a dispensary, unconscious, and the doctor who saw me said: 'This person is already dead, take her back home and bury her'".

Against the odds, Mariam survived; but she was five months pregnant and her unborn child did not.

These fricking savages - that's what they are - hacked the arms off a helpless, five month pregnant woman because they belived it would give them good luck.

I have lived before in ‘3rd world’ developing nations.. in my most humble opinion- the United States of America in 2025 is more 3rd world than any of the countries we often think of when applying that label.. the example you put forth is bad, but so is a classroom full of 2nd graders getting slaughtered in America and almost *nothing* changing legislatively to try and stop it from happening again…. we can all disagree on ‘why’ America is now 3rd world- right & left will blame each other, im not talking about the ‘whys’- im talking about the facts of America today, and no politician is coming to save you.. sorry to be all gloom & doom, but i think it’s going to get worse .

Why would we disagree on a premise that isn’t true to begin with?

Lol.. let me guess- America is “omg the greatest country in the world !”.. you better unlearn that shite .

As George Carlin famously said “It’s called the American dream because you have to be asleep to believe it”.. like any 3rd world country, America has nice pockets of places like Destin, Charleston, Carmel CA, the suburbs of Nashville, Connecticut et al.. but doesnt change the fact that America is mostly a shithole .

No, it’s true.. people on here bust my balls about it all the time.. sorry if you can’t believe that anyone would ever escape the friendly confines of Bunkie or wherever in South Louisiana you live, to see the big wide world .

Well that’s what happens when you welcome in the Third World population and don’t expect them to assimilate. Couple that with lowering the bar on people already here, and you end up with a shithole.
I’ve often said that if the U.S. is the best place on earth to live then I sure as hell don’t want to live anywhere else.
Bringing us down to 3rd World status is being done by design IMO.
I’m concerned about what the end game is.

Ever see hunger games? It's a hint. Power and wealth get consolidated within 1% of the global elites, and the rest of us are their entertainment.

Because you are a liar. I’ve been on mission to poor countries. If you’re comparing America to somewhere like Haiti, you are lying about living in a 3rd world country. It’s really simple. Why lie about this?

When you head to the store to buy your next bag of groceries or you call a doctor because you have an infection and you need antibiotics right away, remind yourself that you wrote something this stupid.

America is the easiest country to become a millionaire. There are more Black millionaires in America than the entire African continent of over a billion people. If you’re not succesful that’s your problem.

All of those yuge innovations that came out of Africa and have aided mankind elevate the global standards were just not rewarded monetarily, because of racism.

Africa's brilliant innovations have created a massive group of the world's only trillionaires.
