Cal VT very interesting. Cal is probably the worst 5-2 team in existence and VT is trying to salvage a season. Who wins?

It’s a weird spread with Virginia Tech favored by 6.5 in a game that should probably be a pick em if not have Cal favored. Which is why I think Virginia Tech wins that one.

I turned on the replay of last nights Ga. State/S. Alabama game in the background while I was working this afternoon.
What a ball game. Love me some Fun Belt.
Starting to notice a trend of teams allowing the opponent to score when the game is close inside 2 minutes left in the 4th quarter.
Makes sense as a strategy but it's strange to see

Cal has one legitimate win, against 5-2 Minnesota. But they struggled to beat truly bad teams like BC and UNC. VT has serious issues but Wilcox teams will always let you down.

Those are the 1975 throwback helmets they usually wore during the Joe Roth game we used to have every year hosting the LA team (USC or UCLA). Joe Roth was a great Cal QB who would have been drafted, but he died of cancer in Feb 1977, one month after playing in an all-star game.
