The optics are really getting bad for the Dems. They've painted themselves into a corner that they don't know how to get out of. Aside from the typical Trump is bad tripe they been screaming for 10 years now, they have nothing.

For the most part some gov't employees are on a paid holiday, slightly inconvenienced with delayed paychecks.

Previous record was 35 days in 2018-19.

And the nation is fine! I hope it goes on for a year! Force all those not collecting a check to find a real job.

Do you even civics….

Dems need to give 7 votes the end debate in the senate so the senate can vote on the CR (continuing resolution)

I’m against the shutdown, but stop being a fricking idiot.

Senate Democrats voted Wednesday for a 12th time to block a House-passed bill to reopen the government and keep it funded through Nov. 21.

And any grown person who says “totes” needs to be kicked in the face.

How of the previous shutdowns had a “clean” CR approved by the House and not approved by the Senate. I’m actually curious?

As has already been stated, I hope the government stays shut down for a very, very, very long time.

This is not the days of 3 channels on your tv antenna on a clear evening. The gop does not have to negotiate and the longer this goes the better for them. You know this and so do I.

We’ve already broken the total shutdown record. I hope it never reopens.

why? The CR doesn't change one nickel of spending from what the dumbass dims voted for a few months ago. What's to negotiate?

You never answer this question because you can't
