What's the spread between sales price and purchase price? Not that I agree with the selloff.

IMO we shouldn't be paying full price for our nations natural resources for filling a strategic need. It belongs to us all. Pay for getting out, and a little something for their troubles, but that's it.

IIRC Joe Biden bought oil for the reserve when gas was $5 a gallon

Yeah even worse Dems blocked replenishment of the SPR by Drumpf in his first term.

Price too low to keep the oil patch solvent. Need around $70/barrel oil. Good for oil producers and don't kill you at the pump.

Dems blocked Trump from loading up. Biden depleted the stocks before the 2022 midterms when gas prices were out of control in an attempt to influence the election. Then the Dems filled it back up for a cost way higher than when they blocked Trump.

Buy low, sell high. That’s the Trump way. Glad we have adults back in charge.

Usage per day has nothing to do with the SPR unless you are a Turnip using it to try to win an election.

Full price for oil is bad, but artificially inflated prices for crops like corn is good, right?
