it is for causes spelled out specifically in his contract. The "for cause" scenario is HIGHLY unlikely.

If he goes 7-5, I seriously doubt he survives. This assumption that LSU can’t afford the buyout is crazy to me. If the boosters get enough of his shite, they will get the funds and according to several proven insiders on the pay sites, they do have the funds. Some of you need to realize the money implications if you don’t fire him and everyone loses interest in the program. Boosters stop giving money, fans stop renewing season tickets, less people at the games to spend money, and a multitude of other things that will end up costing then more money than buying him out. Once the boosters have had enough and say we’re not spending another penny until this guy is gone, and here is the plan to buy out the contract, that dude is fired. They can afford it, what they can’t afford is not doing it.
