Brian Kelly is an idiotic, stubborn bastard. This in itself should be a fireable offense.

By and large, DJ Chester did what was expected of him. He is going to play LT because he’s the most experienced guy.

DJ Chester is one of the worst offensive lineman to ever play at LSU.

He has no punch at all.

Bro tripped. It happens. All of our players had issues on the Vandy turf for some reason. He didn't get pushed like that the entire time.

I agree, I don't like Chester at LT, but let's not act like he was getting blown up that bad every play.

i can't get over the fact one of our linemen was runover like that saturday...in the least he could have acted like a speed bump and impeding the end a little

Sure. Why not. Let’s slap him out there.

Weak, uncoordinated and slow. Perfect tackle for protecting the limping statue.

no. Sometimes they ran around him.

He was invisible over half the time. Like literally would’ve got the same production outta a blocking dummy. But they don’t fall down.

Kelly said he played the entire Florida game.

Is that right? That's not what I remember.

He couldn't snap the ball last year without getting a penalty. Happened almost every game.
It's not the first, second, third, fourth, etc time that he's been completely driven back like that. He's been a problem for a while now.

I'm sure the kid tries hard, and works hard and what not, but he doesn't need to be on the field for LSU. He's just not good enough. I cease to believe there aren't better options at every single OL backup position.

How about putting Carius Curne out there who’s proven he can do it against Ole Miss you sorry excuse for a coach?

as a former lineman, that just makes me angry. Nothing but mass. No muscle. No clue.

To be fair, the other poster said “let’s not act like he was getting blown up every play”. Seems like that checks out

So is Westin Davis, and both will be starting for us Saturday

I think we all agree with this, Brian. The issue is that's not good enough.

To be fair, no one said he was getting blown up every play so I'm not sure who he was talking to.
