This year is the Lane Kiffin Sweepstakes … LSU will miss the window just like 4 yrs ago.

This year will be the Lane Kiffin sweepstakes but LSU will miss the window because BK will not be fired this year…
BK will be fired next year after a 4-5 loss season ; in a rebuild when everyone leaves LSU after this year !!
Kiffin cannot attract talent at Ole Miss like we receive here at LSU.

Kiffin could attract it to LSU like Bees to Honey.
Offense would really never be an issue.
Defensively… Kiffin would need to find his Blake Baker.

Look at the coaching list for Penn State…it’s a joke.
There is a dearth of talent in the college football coaching ranks.

What a the talent he could attract at USC and when he was at Tennessee? Lane has had elite talent before and has never gotten it done forget on a consistent basis he’s never got it done period.

Trolls. Kiffin shoulda been in the playoff last year with the roster they bought and still didn’t make it. Until or if he does, he’s a coach capable of a few creative offensive play calls whose offenses are explosive until they’re not and whose teams still step on their dicks more often than not.
The fact he’s 2-2 against Kelly is enough reason to show Kelly the door.

My goodness man. What has anyone actively coaching outside of Kirby and Day done that are a sure bet? Kiffin would be as great a hire as anyone.

He’s built a consistent winner at Ole Miss who hasn’t been relevant since the 60’s. Do you understand the impossible task of building a winner at a program that is second tier and at a disadvantage to other top programs?

Kiffin isn't going to leave Ole Miss for their arch rival. He's obviously open to leaving, but he isn't going to do that to OM. Hate to say it but for that alone I could see Kiffin head to Florida.

OM has had 7 10-win seasons in their history before him. Kiffin has 3 in 5 years (possibly a 4th this year).

Well for starters it’s his unique play calling ability. In 2019 LSU had a solid D but not a SHUT DOWN D. This year. They do. Difference is when LSU went up by 2 scores at anytime in 2019 ballgame. It was over. They couldn’t stop us. Page forward to this year. Yes we don’t have Burrow, Chase and JJetts but with what we do have with an offensive genius, we would win and win big. Our D is our D but again if Kiff was the current head coach, we are ranked #2 right now. Not #19

Assume we hire Kiffen, will you be fine with losing 2-3 games like he historically has at OM. Just because it’s LSU, the brand just does not win on its on. Saban fired his arse in the CFP because he was not focused.

The 2019 offense was about as unstoppable as it gets, truly generational, multigenerational. The defense down the stretch was salty to be sure. This year the offense is steaming poop and the defense merely competent. That adds up to 7-5 at best.
