The BK talk needs to stop

This year was his best year to make a run. It’s that simple. They went out and spent the money to shore up the defense and bring In a few on offense to help out. Well. It hasn’t worked.
Here’s the problem. Kelly is staying no matter what but next year will be a rebuilding year. EVERYONE on D will be gone and you know Nuss and some WR’s and others will be gone.
So next year Kelly will be safe because it’s a “rebuild” year. Soonest you will see Kelly get fired is maybe after 2027 unless at the end of this year or later he just decides to retire and hang it up because NO ONE is going to hire him away from LSU.
If Nappier gets canned as the HC I would have him on speed dial as an OC replacement. Sometimes coaches are just better OC’s than HC.
And all of this talk on here about Kiffin. Well I’m here to tell you that if he was the HC of this years team, LSU would be undefeated and probably sitting at #2 in the country.

You don’t understand the stakes and couldn’t be more wrong. He’s 4 years in and it’s never been more obvious that he can’t succeed here. LSU can’t afford to wait.

The fact that next year is a rebuild year with nothing to show for it this year is why he needs to go...he's hired 2 DCs, 2 OCs and built this roster with 20 million...time to fricking go.

Yeah you’re right, LSU is NOT paying 53.6million$ to fire CBK and forking out another 100mill for new Coach and Staff and NIL—- not happening. Yall may be downvoting these threads in protest, anger, or whatever but they’re not firing CBK. You can downvote this if you like but you’ll be melting over this same situation next year with the same situation over the same things.

We all want him gone? Hope that we lose out. Things we will start escalating dramatically after each loss. 6-6 with this roster and you’re looking at a train wreck. Then it’s called ripping the band aid off instead of watching a slow death.

Have you calculated the costs of losing seasons in 26 and 27? You’re looking at multi-year rebuilding. Probably one way or the other. The buyout costs (which are paid over the term of the contract) pale in comparison to the costs of 5+ losing seasons. Stop and think: Based on everything we’ve seen the last 4 seasons do you really think BK is turning this around?

Would agree with this, but the problem with waiting too long is the top candidates will probably be gone by then…..but I do get your point…..
