He will most likely win a title, but I wouldn't expect him to stay arround much after that. I think he will start looking to prove himself back in the NFL
Case was week, you probably would have lost it and then youd have to pay him anyway + legal fees.
re: How many years does lane stay at LSU?

As soon as he wins a natty he will go to the NFL.
He may very well be extremely successfull.
But outside of LSU he will be considered a villian for the way he left Ole Miss.
But it's not always bad to thought of as a villian.

Lane has a long way to go before you can compare him to Saban.
re: If the gold standard is 2 losses or less going forward, how have we fared this century?

Which is 2 losses
Possibly, having only two losses doesn't garantee anything.
re: Every day we get further away from Brian Kelly it's clearer he was a terrible fit for LSU

I don't think he's a great fit anywhere except maybe Grand Valley State, wonder if they'd take him back or if he's burned down those bridges too.

Lane is a good man, husband and a caring father.
He is technically divorced, but since he seems to have a great relationship with his ex, you could say he's a good ex-husband.

He did say Brian Kelly was a home run hire. And he was right, it just wasn't a home run for LSU but it was for every other SEC team.
No evidence to support this, he's a good coach but that doesn't make you a good man.

and yet, it's still ole piss
Maybe but there in the top ten and headed to the playoffs

I would question anyone who can't win a championship at USC.

Not really considering he’s a professional troll and has never won anything
Not won anything? he's managed to get multiple organizations to pay him millions of dollars. and he's managing to keep himself in play for an even bigger payday. If that ain't winning nothing is.
He's using it for publicity, his name is out there and it appears big name SEC schools are fighting for him. How is this not a good way to get into rectuits heads. To appear to be in control and playing the system is good PR.

Why do so many on this board struggle with the possessive case?
Perhaps a better question why do thenstruggle so much with english grammar in general.
Not to mention logic?

We all heard that Kelly came to LSU because it was easier to recruit there. You never hire someone who wants the job because he thinks its easier than his previous one. Thats a flag for someone who is looking to slack.
re: Verge Ausberry's son Linebacker at Notre Dame

He's in the LB rotation, he recovered a fumble against Georgia in the Sugar Bowl last year. He's a great player despite being somewhat undersized.
There was alot of heat about it on the recruiting board when he commited to Notre Dame.
Notre Dame isn't for everybody, but for some people its is. My guess is this was more than just a football decision. But it's not like he's going to a place that doesn't send a boatload of players to the NFL

re: What is the real story of BK getting fired?

Does it matter?

Meanwhile, you'll go 10-2 this season if you win out.
True but last year was the best result since the 1988 NC.

Yes ND was stuck with thim because the AD and Administration were happy with 10 - 2. Just enough to keep the money coming in.
