This old fool.

“This is about a handful of the wealthiest people on earth who, in their insatiable greed, have hijacked our economy and our political system in order to enrich themselves at the expense of working families throughout this country,” Sanders said in a clip highlighted by Mediaite.

“I am talking about Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg and the other multi billionaires who were sitting right behind Trump when he was inaugurated,” he added.

The Hill has reached out to Tesla, Meta and Amazon for comment on Sanders’s remarks. LINK

IIRC, Musk alone is directly responsible for creating about a million jobs. Hijacked indeed. In the same way Henry Ford "hijacked" Ford Motor Co.

Class warfare is all Marxist demagogues have. Economics is not a zero-sum game and he knows this, but he also knows that most voters do not. Can you imagine the state of this country if we were to elect people like him who then enacted legislation to drive from our midst our wealthiest and most successful citizens? To drive from our midst those who create jobs and have proven capable of generating wealth leaving behind a nation full of those who have only proven capable of consuming it...

All you have to do is look at inner cities to see what happens when wannabes run things. They fill their pockets and leave nothing but more grief for those who live there. Rich people regardless of who or how they get there need to employ others and build up their own surroundings.

Ask Bernie how many checks he’s cashed from the Clintons to drop out of races.

Typical ingrate politician who understands the golden rule of politics: There are incredibly far more poor people than rich, therefore disparage the rich.

How truly uninformed must one be to believe Bernie Sanders credible.

I know Bernie had/has his loyal following of “Bros” but at what point does it ever occur to them that this old commie coot has no literal clue?

I remember watching that live. The irony was just perfect. It was like an SNL sketch but it was real life

I had the misfortune of watching a Bernie rally during Trump's first term. Bernie begins by casting Trump as 'divisive' and 'not inclusive'. And then assured all of the clapping seals in attendance that had Bernie been elected he would be a much more inclusive leader. He then immediately segued into class warfare (not divisive at all) and began describing his vision for an America where billionaires wouldn't be allowed. Incredible. Apparently Bernie's inclusivity does not extend to those who were far more successful in the private sector than he....which I suppose is the real crime to a Marxist.

He should legally change his name to Commie Sanders and just embrace it.

Look, I'm as MAGA as they come but Sanders has a point and he's always had a point. It's why he's had the staying power. Corporations, not people run both parties.

I think these billionaires, like the ones mentioned, have every right to pay their people as much or as little as they wish and the government should stay out of it.

But I also believe they don't pay their people enough and that's wrong too.

I don't think they should be taxed more or any government involved bullshite like mandated minimum wages which shouldn't even exist.

I do feel like these companies should hire more Americans and pay Americans better. More people would be winning.

The data doesn't lie. It's getting harder to make it, especially for young people and honestly, with the AI revolution it already too late.

We are looking at major civil unrest some time in the future.

Fifteen years ago it was "millionaires" who were the focus of Bernie's ire.
Then he became a millionaire.
Ten years ago it was "multi-millionaires" where the his focus for all the wrongs of society.
Then he became a multi-millionaire.
Five years ago, the focus changes for "multi-millionaires and billionaires" and now it's changes to "multi-billionaires".

Bernie's income must be booming.
