My parents gifted me an original briefcase for college graduation 15 years ago. Can’t believe they ruined such an iconic bag by putting the logo on the outside of it.

The quality has really dropped off since they got sold out

Was looking at Filson wool coats a couple years ago but kept seeing people complain about the fit / cut.
Ran across Legendary Whitetails. Got a couple fleece lined coats and jackets from them and no complaints. Most of their stuff comes in tall sizes.

I love their flannels. I wear the lighter ones all the time in the Winter. Just the right thickness as an over shirt for most days.

They’ve been a Bedrock portfolio company since 2012. Another PE group. Bedrock CEO was behind the Smile Direct Club disaster.

Their flannel fleece lined barn-coat is an outstanding value.
They run promos all the time.

I love my Filson belts, I bought one which has lasted me at least 7 years at this point. I found a sale on their website and bought four more.

I like that brand quite a bit.
Excellent quality, reasonable price.
Filson is just a name now, and not worth any kind of premium price

The play is to scour ebay for vintage Filson.

mmm...i hear you. there's plenty of cheap shite made out that way but for example arc'teryx is made in bangladesh and vietnam and they're gold standard outdoor clothing. i've worked in the industry 20 years

Filson has shite the bed. My wife bought me some $500 garment bag a few years ago. It lasted about two years.
