How we liking this one boys? We spent a 4th on a kid with 4 receptions.

Does Mason Tipton have leprosy or something? We could have simply let him take those snaps and saved the draft pick. Hell, he could have started in place of Brandin Crooks.

Mickey doing Mickey things. Our only hope is to draft our way out of this mess. Given the depravity of this shitshow, we needed that pick more than an overpriced WR3.

How much do you think Sean P enjoyed punking us on this trade?

Hard to tell what we've got when he's never thrown to. That catch that got called back on penalty was nice though. Looking like a bad trade now but could improve.

It was a very questionable trade. Extending Juwan and trading a 4th for Vele in the same year is a tough pill to swallow.
We haven’t been a serious franchise since Payton left.

Bull. When we do, for some reason Moore does not put him on the field. Same as DA having Graham on the sidelines in the red zone.

He’s in. Rattler makes his one read and then dumps it into the flat. The one time in the Giants game he threw his direction in the endzone, it went 10 yards out of bounds.

Rattler really needs to work on his red zone awareness. He can dink and dunk down the field to the 15 yard line, but things tighten up there and he’s got to learn to give his big WRs a chance to make a play.

it must be something in the water down in Nee Orleans Dumars of the Pelicans made one of the worst trades in recent NBA history Moving up to number 13 pick while giving up an unprotected 1st next season. Most experts have the Pelicans back in the lottery next season

It’s gonna be a real tough pill to swallow when Mickey trades Olave for a 4th and then it’s like Olave for Vele.

It’s just a 4th and he has shown intriguing moments. He will never be your top WR1 or even WR2 but he has value. We can draft a WR in the draft to take Olave’s place. We will have 2 first round picks this year basically as we will be picking top 5 and then at the very top of the 2nd which is like a late 1st. If we are smart this team can show real promise with 2 drafts to retool the roster.

This feels like the Saints did a finalization trade of Payton to Denver.

It was a severe overpay.

But with the worst GM in professional sports, you never know

Which is what a ton of people melted over when we made the trade. you can’t rationally make sense of the trade. the 5% chance that pick turns out to be a solid player is still higher than the chance of this dude legitimately helping the franchise

He has 4 catches for 29 yards on 5 targets through five games

Our other three WRs average 5’10” 180. He’s intriguing bc he’s 6’5” but that’s about it

Vele isn't here for Rattler; Vele is here for Shough or our top 3 QB pick.

Rattler is a one read QB. If first read isn't open, its dump off or run. Being a WR3 in a one read offense doesn't give you much opportunity. Same reason Cooks only has about 13 receptions all year. You can say the WRs suck and that may be true, but don't really know when not given a chance.

Going through your reads is predicated on time to throw in the pocket. There’s obviously work to be done with Rattler but he has the 7th lowest time in the pocket (2.2 seconds) and he’s tied for 5th in hurries faced. Things looked a little different with a healthy OL vs the patriots.

And Vele can’t overtake Cooks for WR3 snaps; he only played 18 snaps vs NE. Juwan Johnson sucks. Let’s not pretend there isn’t opportunity for the taking for Vele. We are in desperate need of a Vele type and CKM is saying he isn’t worthy of seeing the field more
