Buncha Palestinians in my neighborhood. Can’t tell if they’re happy about the peace deal.

Are Palestinians in the US generally happy? Not happy? No idea.

One guy waves at me when he sees me. I want to ask him what he thinks. And why his wife drives like a batshit raccoon on meth.

Why would they be unhappy about the peace deal?

They are just back to where they were before the war. They will push until they have a state or at least equal rights.
So i don't think this is it.

Not surprising. Middle Easterners in general drive like that. Kuwaitis especially.

Well, it’s a cease fire conditioned on a million other things outside of their control, so I can see maybe “hesitant”

Stay away from them, they tend to explode for no good reason.

I don't think any legitimate person would rather war versus released hostages and less bombs.

Ummm dude Gaza has been governed by Hamas since the early 2000’s. They are responsible for their own fricking rights or lack of them.

They are supposedly already delaying releasing of the remains of the dead hostages. Some already tried to encroach on no go area around boundaries. Hamas isn’t disarming per what they agreed to.
quote:

Hamas has already proved it means to use the cease-fire as a way to restore its rule of Gaza, inevitably with an eye to launching future terror attacks on Israel; the question is: Will the world leaders who just signed the historic peace accord let it happen? “We do not need to limit ourselves to the Israeli terms and definitions related to weapons,” taunts Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem; back on Friday, the three main Gaza terror groups issued a joint statement flat-out rejecting any “foreign guardianship” over Gaza.
https://nypost.com/2025/10/14/opinion/as-hamas-renegs-on-the-cease-fire-deal-whos-going-to-step-up-and-disarm-it/

Hamas comes out of hiding and starts executing alleged Israeli sympathizers on the streets with no trials. https://nypost.com/2025/10/14/world-news/hamas-has-public-executions-hours-after-signing-peace-treaty-with-israel/

They frick up everything they control including themselves. It took them 40 years to actually accept a deal that was no longer on the table choosing war and terror instead, but the UN accepted it. They have an election which Hamas wins which then splits them up with no national elections since 2006.

If palestinians wanted Hamas removed this war was a good opportunity to rise up and turn on them when they were getting beat up and taken down, but right after deal signed Hamas appears to be back in control.

Correct chant is Free Gaza from Hamas. Anything else is just political victimhood.

No they aren’t happy. They want all Jews dead. All Jews are not dead, and Israel has sovereignty over Temple Mount.
