But we did win the game. Do we get less of a win because it was an ugly win? Like is it .75 of a win or .8 of a win? More than that or less?
It is actually just a regular full 1 win. I guess I want BK (or any coach) to say hey - we want to get better in this aspect or we are going to fight to get better in that aspect or whatever, but if they don't, then I don't know.

If I had a formula 1 team and the driver of my billion dollar enterprise was consistently barely winning races against teams spending a fraction of what I spent, I would be very concerned. I would be very worried about upcoming races with teams spending the equivalent or more.
If he then had the audacity to claim that I was spoiled I would look very seriously into finding a new driver.

I hear ya - I really do. And that would be your option as an owner of that enterprise to do what you felt you needed to do. But to us as fans - I'm not sure what BK (or any coach) owes us more than wins. However we feel like those wins look.

Do you realize I can tell by watching this year how poorly coached this Kelly team is except on defense....do you realize we are paying him 10MM for this product? Saying we won is never enough..We are paying this arrogant a-hole to coach and do it very well...Very shortly, probably this weekend, you will see why his shitty coaching win against a mediocre team who had the balls to fire their OC after the game, with Kelly's 4MM NIL quarterback who has regressed, now showing the decision making of a Pop Warner QB, is never enough.

I think some people expect a coach to have post games like another proven winner on campus, Jay Johnson. He keeps mental notes on every at bat and every pitching sequence and is able to intelligently speak to every aspect of the game.
It’s never “good enough” to simply win. BK is good. He’s just not good enough for LSU.

These posters bitching about press conferences must not have been here for the Miles Era… I quit watching his PCs because they were devoid of any usable info at all. That was long before he got on the hot seat.

At this point given his behavior and comments, I think he's intentionally sandbagging them thinking LSU will cut down his media appearances. He's already whined this season about his postgame press conference being right after the game.

He says something at about 3:50 that I found interesting, what he told the players after the game. "We got plenty of time to correct the things we're going to go over on Monday. Everyone's going to remind you of that on Monday. So all I'm going to say is I love the way you competed."
I think this quote explains a lot about why Kelly handles these pressers the way he does.
